The aim of this study is to present suggestions to the teachers with examples in the application process of the FCM in elementary school and developing basic language skills. The study was carried out in the research study design and in Turkish lessons in the 4th grade of a primary school in which 24 students studied. The activities prepared according to the FCM were applied during the application process in Turkish lessons. The researcher in the teacher role has found in various conclusions such as text and content selection, activity preparation, teaching of basic language skills, classroom management and group works. Parallel to these conclusions, some suggestions will be presented to guide applier teachers.
