As "attitudinal variables relate directly to language acquisition..." there are several filters which slow down or sometimes block speaking in a foreign language (Krashen, 1991). So, the English teacher's role is to reduce these types of stress if s/he wants the students to speak fluently. The teacher-stress comes first and physical and psycholocical barriers follow it. In this paper source of the in-class-stress will be analyzed and solutions will be proposed.
